Trabalho de conclusão de curso ( Pós-graduação ) - Instituto Federal de Roraima, Novo Paraíso, 2026https://repositorio.ifrr.edu.br/handle/123456789/571This study analyzes the importance of Vocational and Technological Education (VTE) in the holistic development of students in the municipality of Cantá, Roraima, considering its contribution to professional qualification, social development, and entry into the labor market. The research employs an exploratory, qualitative, and descriptive approach, based on a literature review, document analysis, and a questionnaire administered via Google Forms, with the participation of 15 members of the school community. The results highlight the limited availability of technical courses in the municipality, as well as challenges regarding infrastructure, technological resources, and public policies. Participants acknowledge the importance of VTE for students' personal and professional development and for expanding employment opportunities.
