TCC (Graduação) - Curso de Especialização em Educação: Métodos e Técnicas de Ensino, Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Roraíma, Boa Vista, 2025.https://repositorio.ifrr.edu.br/handle/123456789/224This article investigates the use of observational astronomy as a pedagogical tool in science education through a literature review of academic studies published between 2014 and 2024. The research indicates that, despite astronomy's recognized potential for sparking student curiosity and engagement, its application as a teaching methodology remains underexplored academically. The analyzed works, mostly experience reports and teaching proposals for basic education, converge in highlighting the ability of astronomical observation to promote scientific literacy and the principles of Meaningful Learning, transforming students into active agents in the construction of knowledge. However, the review identifies important gaps, such as the lack of long-term studies evaluating learning retention and the lack of research aimed at audiences such as early childhood education and adult education. The conclusion is that, although its potential is validated, more robust methodological research is needed to establish observational astronomy as an effective and more comprehensive teaching practice.pt-BRAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 BrazilEnsinoAstronomia observacionalCiênciasAstronomia observacional como ferramenta no ensino de ciências: uma revisão bibliográficatcc_especializacaoCIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::ASTRONOMIACIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO::ENSINO-APRENDIZAGEMCIENCIAS HUMANAS::PSICOLOGIA::PSICOLOGIA DO ENSINO E DA APRENDIZAGEM::ENSINO E APRENDIZAGEM NA SALA DE AULACIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO
