In this context, the work Os Monaikó entre identidades, mitos e metáforas [The Monaikó: Between Identities, Myths, and Metaphors] by Idelvânia Rodrigues de Oliveira (2022) stands out; it gathers narratives from the Monaikó people, highlighting historical, cultural, and symbolic aspects fundamental to understanding their identity. This study aimed to analyze the experience narrative genre as a tool for valuing the cultural identity of Indigenous peoples in Roraima, using the aforementioned work as a reference. The research is characterized as a bibliographic study with a qualitative approach, grounded in books, scientific articles, official documents, and legislation regarding experience narratives, Indigenous cultural identity, and intercultural education. According to Gil (2019), bibliographic research enables a critical analysis of knowledge produced on a specific topic, allowing for the construction of well-founded interpretations. The results demonstrated that the experience narrative constitutes a pedagogical resource capable of preserving collective memory, strengthening cultural identity, and promoting intercultural educational practices.
