This is a bibliographic and documentary research with a qualitative approach, grounded in theoretical frameworks, legal milestones, and institutional documents that discuss Professional and Technological Education, omnilateral formation, and emancipatory education. The analysis showed that Professional and Technological Education goes beyond a strictly technical and instrumental conception, constituting an educational modality committed to the integral formation of individuals, the democratization of knowledge, and social inclusion. It was found that the articulation between work, science, culture, and technology fosters the construction of a critical, reflective, and socially referenced formation, expanding the possibilities for individuals to participate in social and productive processes. In the context of the Federal Institute of Roraima, the analyzed institutional documents demonstrate alignment with the principles of integral human formation and with the commitment to promote a public, free, inclusive, and socially referenced quality education. The results indicate that Professional and Technological Education has the potential to contribute to social transformation processes by enabling access to education, expanding training opportunities, and developing the critical consciousness of the subjects. However, they also highlight ongoing challenges related to the implementation of fully inclusive and emancipatory educational practices, as well as the consolidation of public policies aimed at social equity and the democratization of education.
