Estratégias de permanência e êxito para estudantes trabalhadores do PROEJA-FIC no IFRR/CBVZO: educação ao longo da vida e justiça social. 2025. Dissertação (Mestrado em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica - ProfEPT) – Instituto Federal de Roraima, Boa Vista, 2025.https://repositorio.ifrr.edu.br/handle/123456789/300This study is aligned with the research line Organization and Memories of Pedagogical Spaces in Professional and Technological Education (PTE), specifically Macro-project 6 – Organization of pedagogical spaces in PTE. Accordingly, it explored the creation of inclusive learning environments, the promotion of practical experiences, and the development of collaborative learning communities. The objective was to analyze student retention and success among young and adult working students enrolled in the Administrative Assistant course of the National Program for the Integration of Professional Education with Youth and Adult Education (PROEJA-FIC), integrated with Initial and Continuing Education (FIC), at the Federal Institute of Roraima (IFRR) – Boa Vista Zona Oeste Campus (CBVZO). The study was conducted through applied research with exploratory and descriptive objectives, adopting both quantitative and qualitative approaches, and using case study procedures, that made through collected data from institutional documents, bibliographic references, a focus group discussion, semi-structured interviews conducted in person, and a structured questionnaire containing open and closed questions. The research was approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Roraima (UFRR) (CAAE 82962724.8.0000.5302), ensuring compliance with ethical principles governing scientific research. Data analysis was carried out using Bardin’s (1977) content analysis technique. The educational product, a documentary entitled Third Shift, was developed based on narratives obtained from interviews, questionnaires, the focus group discussion, and bibliographic and documentary data. Aiming to reflect on the current realities of PROEJA-FIC students. The findings indicate that the success of PROEJA-FIC students and graduates at CBVZO goes beyond mere course graduation. It is realized both as an objective achievement - marked by the overcoming of multiple barriers - and as a symbolic accomplishment that represents resistance and the ability to transform dreams into purposeful goals. Thus, success emerges from the ongoing struggle of individuals who, despite social, economic, and personal adversities, sustain hope and recognize education as a legitimate pathway for change. By transforming dreams into purpose, these students reaffirm the political and emancipatory dimension of PROEJA-FIC, in dialogue with Freire´s principles of education as a practice of freedom. As an outcome of this study, an educational product was developed that presents, among other elements, proposals for actions aimed at promoting more effective comprehensive education. Among these initiatives include the flexibilization of teaching spaces, the expansion of student assistance programs, the use of educational technologies, continuing teacher education, as well as incentive and recognition strategies. Additionally, the strengthening of welcoming practices and the encouragement of learner autonomy and critical thinking are emphasized. Such actions constitute pathways to enhance student retention, success, and holistic education.pt-BRDocumentárioEducação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT)ÊxitoPermanênciaProduto EducacionalTerceiro TurnoEstratégias de permanência e êxito para estudantes trabalhadores do PROEJA-FIC no IFRR/CBVZO: educação ao longo da vida e justiça socialdissertacao_mestradoCIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAOCIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO::TOPICOS ESPECIFICOS DE EDUCACAOCIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO::TOPICOS ESPECIFICOS DE EDUCACAO::EDUCACAO DE ADULTOS
