The central objective is to analyze the perception of a 2nd-year class of the Integrated High School of the Secretarial Studies program at the Federal Institute of Roraima – Boa Vista Campus, regarding different variations of the dodgeball game, investigating how these adaptations can impact their participation and satisfaction during classes. This is a field research study, with a mixed-methods approach, and a descriptive character. Data collection was carried out through a didactic intervention involving two practical classes, each class with three distinct variations of the dodgeball game, followed by the application of a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using content analysis and tables, seeking to identify elements related to the students' preferences, perceptions of participation, and experiences. The results showed that most students were unaware of the variations of the dodgeball game, but expressed high satisfaction when experiencing them, especially in the more dynamic and strategic versions, which encouraged greater participation in practical classes.
