This study aimed to analyze biodiversity conservation strategies focused on preserving the scarlet macaw Ara chloropterus and blue macaw Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus species, as well as the rock engravings found at the Arara Vermelha/Pedra do Sol Archaeological Site, located in the municipality of São Luiz do Anauá, state of Roraima, Brazil. The research is characterized as a bibliographic review with a qualitative and descriptive approach, developed through the analysis of books, scientific articles, dissertations, theses, official documents, and environmental and heritage legislation. The results showed that factors such as deforestation, wildfires, lack of inspection, environmental degradation, and human activities pose significant threats to both biodiversity and the archaeological heritage of the region. Furthermore, environmental and heritage education proved to be an important instrument for social awareness, encouraging practices aimed at the integrated preservation of natural and cultural heritage.
