For this research, a qualitative-quantitative approach was adopted, combining descriptive analysis and data processing through technical visits to the Serrinha region. The methodology consisted of a detailed survey and photographic recording of inappropriately discarded waste in the area. Subsequently, technical classification and digital organization of the material were carried out, allowing the creation of statistical graphs. The results indicate that plastic is the most abundant waste in the area, accounting for over 50% of recorded occurrences compared to materials of other origins. It was found that the situation in Serrinha reflects both a scarcity of local public policies and visitor habits.
