The study is justified by the importance of play as an essential strategy in the teaching and learning process. This research adopts a qualitative and bibliographic approach, developed through a Systematic Literature Review. Data were collected from scientific databases, particularly the CAPES Journal Portal and Google Scholar, using descriptors related to playful activities, Early Childhood Education, cognitive development, and socio-emotional development. The analysis was based on a corpus of 19 scientific articles. The findings indicate that playful activities are a topic of growing interest among researchers and represent an important pedagogical resource. In addition to supporting knowledge construction, they foster creativity, language development, memory, and logical reasoning, while also contributing to the development of autonomy, cooperation, empathy, and social interaction.
