Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso Licenciatura em Matemática) - Instituto Federal de Roraima, Boa Vista, 2026.https://repositorio.ifrr.edu.br/handle/123456789/518This monograph presents the development and internal analysis of the educational product “Financial Circuit: Decisions and Challenges”, a problem-based board game designed for teaching Financial Mathematics in the ninth grade of Brazilian elementary education. The study aimed to produce a prototype aligned with skill EF09MA05 of the Brazilian National Common Core Curriculum, grounded in Meaningful Learning Theory and guided by the Teaching-Learning-Assessment of Mathematics through Problem Solving approach. The research was classified as applied, qualitative, exploratory, descriptive, bibliographic, documentary, and educational-development research. The process comprised problem analysis, requirements definition, pedagogical design, production of the board and card sets, preparation of the teacher’s manual, calculation review, and examination of coherence among curriculum, theory, components, mediation, and assessment. Findings are documentary and analytical because no classroom implementation or data collection with students and teachers was conducted. The analysis showed consistent alignment between percentage, rate, and successive-percentage cards and the selected curriculum skill; a three-level conceptual progression; integration of prior-knowledge activation, problem solving, and formative assessment; and the need to state limitations related to use, accessibility, and future validation. The study also identified and corrected an initial prototype gap: the absence of the eight bonus cards announced in the game architecture.
