In the post-pandemic recovery, the sector is growing again, driven by several factors, including the weight of capital and economic dynamics that shape tourism as a consumer commodity, which reshapes patterns and demands and requires the pursuit of professional qualification. In Brazil, this scenario is even more evident in expanding regions, such as Roraima, where tourism activity has gained strength and demanded professionals prepared to work efficiently and sustainably. In this context, the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Roraima has committed to contributing to technical training and meeting local needs through the Higher Technology Course in Tourism Management. The research starts from the following question: how does the training offered by the course contribute to the personal and professional trajectory of graduates and their insertion into the world of work? To guide the investigation, the objective was defined as understanding the formative process of the course and its possible contributions to the insertion of graduates into the market. This study was developed within the scope of the Professional Master's Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT), in the Research Line "Organization and Memories of Pedagogical Spaces in EPT", linked to Macroproject 4 - "History and Memories in the Context of EPT". The research is applied in nature and was conducted through bibliographic research, document analysis, and fieldwork, through the application of a questionnaire with 11 graduates, semi-structured interviews with 4 teachers and managers, and narrative interviews with 5 graduates; subsequently, the data were systematized and analyzed through content analysis. Among the main findings, the profile of these professionals (graduates), their perceptions of the training received, and the ways in which the course interacts with the demands of tourism were identified, influenced both by sociocultural aspects and by the economic pressures that shape the sector. As an educational product, a documentary was developed that retraces the historical trajectory of the course and values institutional memory, presenting accounts from graduates and managers, as well as highlighting the reality of professional insertion in the local market.
