It is a qualitative bibliographic study conducted through the analysis of books, scientific articles, and documents on the subject. The results demonstrate that the use of games, play, and playful activities fosters children's cognitive, social, emotional, and motor development, making learning more meaningful and participatory. They also show that the teacher plays a fundamental role as a mediator of these playful practices, planning activities that stimulate creativity, autonomy, interaction, and knowledge construction.
