Inclusão e Permanência na Educação Profissional : Um Olhar Sobre o Estudante Que Trabalha .2026. Trabalho de conclusão de Curso (Pós-Graduação) - Instituto Federal de Roraima, Novo Paraiso, 2026.https://repositorio.ifrr.edu.br/handle/123456789/546The Brazilian educational reality is marked by challenges that go beyond access to school, particularly involving students’ retention and completion of their studies. In this context, working students stand out, as they often need to enter the labor market at an early age and reconcile professional demands with their educational trajectory, facing difficulties related to a double workload and, in some cases, educational practices that are insufficiently connected to their social and professional reality. In view of this scenario, this study aims to analyze how Vocational and Technological Education (VTE) can contribute to school inclusion and student retention, especially among those who combine work and studies. Through a bibliographic study, it discusses the contributions of integrating theory and practice, contextualizing knowledge, and valuing students’ knowledge and experiences to the development of more meaningful learning. The discussion indicates that VTE has the potential to promote student retention by integrating professional training, scientific knowledge, and preparation for citizenship, bringing the educational process closer to the needs and experiences of working students. It is concluded that, when combined with inclusive pedagogical practices and institutional support policies, VTE can constitute an important strategy for addressing school dropout and promoting inclusion and student successpt-BREducação profissional e tecnológicaInclusão escolarPermanência estudantilEstudante trabalhadorEvasão escolarInclusão e permanência na educação profissional : Um olhar sobre o estudante que trabalhatcc_especializacaoCIENCIAS HUMANASCIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO
