This work aims to analyze the challenges in raising students' awareness of the possibilities and benefits of VTE. The research compares integrated high school education, offered by institutions such as the Federal Institute of Roraima, with concurrent education present in state schools, highlighting differences in curricular integration and student autonomy. The methodology used was a qualitative and quantitative approach, with the application of questionnaires to high school students. The results indicate that many students have superficial knowledge about VTE and low interest in technical courses, mainly due to a lack of information and career guidance.
