Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Licenciatura em Educação Física) - Instituto Federal de Roraima, Boa Vista, 2025.https://repositorio.ifrr.edu.br/handle/123456789/309Autism Spectrum Disorder is a neurodevelopmental condition that significantly impairs communication, social interaction, and behavior, and is also associated with motor deficits and difficulties in social skills.Physical Education, as a field of knowledge, is essential for promoting progress in both motor development and social interactions.The general objective of this study was to understand the relationship between social skills and motor development in students with autism aged 10 to 14 years, in the second cycle of elementary school, in the state school system of Roraima.This is a descriptive, quantitative-qualitative field research study. The MABC-2 (Movement Assessment Battery for Children-2) test was used to assess motor development, and the SSRS (Social Skills Rating System) was used to analyze social skills.The sample for this research consists of 4 students diagnosed with ASD, with an average age of 13 years. It was possible to verify the relationship between social skills and their impact on the motor development of students with significant deficits in both social and motor skills.
