Based on the articulation between work, science, culture, and technology, it discusses sport as a pedagogical practice capable of contributing to the omnilateral development of individuals, going beyond the exclusively physical dimension. Grounded in classical and contemporary theoretical frameworks, such as Freire (1967), Saviani (2007), Darido (1999), and Betti (1993), the study highlights the contributions of sport to students’ physical, social, cultural, critical, and educational development.
