The specific objectives were to understand the role of Professional and Technological Education (PTE) in this process, identify the digital competencies developed, and reflect on pedagogical practices that integrate technology and Indigenous culture. The study is characterized as a bibliographic research with a qualitative approach and interpretative data analysis, organized into thematic categories. The defined categories were: Professional and Technological Education in the training of Indigenous teachers; Information technology and the development of digital competencies; Digital technologies and intercultural pedagogical practices; and Information technology and insertion into the world of work. The results showed that information technology plays an important role in the professional qualification of Indigenous teachers, supporting the development of digital competencies, strengthening pedagogical practices, and expanding professional opportunities. The theoretical references analyzed demonstrated that digital technologies can contribute to more inclusive, critical, and culturally contextualized educational processes, valuing traditional knowledge and strengthening Indigenous cultural, identities. It was also found that PTE, when articulated with digital technologies, contributes to comprehensive, emancipatory, and citizenship-oriented training. The research also identified challenges related to technological infrastructure, access to Information and Communication Technologies, and the need for continuous training for Indigenous teachers.
