This study aimed to evaluate the functional potential of endophytic bacterial isolates obtained from açaí (Euterpe oleracea) and BRS Kurumi elephant grass (Cenchrus purpureus) through the characterization of mechanisms associated with plant growth promotion. A total of 17 isolates were evaluated for biological nitrogen fixation, calcium phosphate, zinc oxide and zinc phosphate solubilization, siderophore production, indolic compound production, and cellulolytic, proteolytic, and pectinolytic enzymatic activities. All isolates showed the ability for biological nitrogen fixation, while isolates 12 (Klebsiella sp.) and 13 (Stenotrophomonas sp.) stood out for their high phosphate and zinc solubilization capacity. In contrast, isolates 4 (Pseudomonas sp.), 5, 7 (Enterobacter sp.), and 1 (Pseudomonas sp.) showed higher indolic compound production. Isolate 3 (Bacillus sp.) presented a distinct enzymatic profile, being the only isolate positive for cellulolytic and pectinolytic activities, in addition to showing high proteolytic activity. The results demonstrated high functional diversity among the evaluated isolates, evidencing the occurrence of complementary physiological mechanisms associated with plant growth promotion. Therefore, the evaluated isolates present potential for further studies under plant conditions in order to validate their agronomic efficiency and possible application as agricultural inoculants.pt-BRBactérias endofíticasPromoção de crescimento vegetalSolubilização de nutrientesBioinoculantesCaracterização molecular e funcional de bactérias diazotróficas isoladas de açaí (EUTERPE OLERACEA) e capim-elefante brs kurumi (CENCHRUS PURPUREUS)tcc_graduacaoCIENCIAS AGRARIASCIENCIAS AGRARIAS::AGRONOMIACIENCIAS AGRARIAS::AGRONOMIA::CIENCIA DO SOLO
