It should be a place where differences do not make a difference; however, being different is not always well understood, and in some cases the school itself may fail to grasp the needs of those who are different. The school institution plays a fundamental role in the process of social inclusion; in this context, inclusion has dominated political and educational debates. Nevertheless, it is essential to consider the importance of learning from a digital perspective, using technological resources as a means of constructing knowledge, an aspect that, specifically regarding autistic students, has received little emphasis in these debates. Having the capacity not only to welcome students but also to be structurally, collectively, and professionally prepared is just one of the difficulties encountered.
