This study aimed to analyze the challenges faced by Professional and Technological Education at José Vieira de Sales Guerra State School, located in the municipality of Caracaraí, in the state of Roraima, Brazil. The research is characterized as qualitative, descriptive, and exploratory, developed through field research, literature review, direct observation, questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews. The results revealed challenges related to technological infrastructure, school dropout rates, continuing teacher education, and the strengthening of participatory management practices. Based on the data collected, an intervention plan was developed to contribute to improving educational quality and strengthening student retention.
