Aplicação de uma sequência didática sobre o Kung-Fu garra de águia para alunos do ensino médio do Instituto Federal de Roraima, Campus Boa Vista. 2025. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Licenciatura em Educação Física) - Instituto Federal de Roraima, Boa Vista, 2025.https://repositorio.ifrr.edu.br/handle/123456789/267This study aimed to investigate the feasibility of teaching the Eagle Claw Kung Fu style as a pedagogical content in Physical Education classes at the Federal Institute of Roraima, Boa Vista Campus. Based on a qualitative and quantitative approach and using the research-intervention methodology, the study sought to understand how this traditional martial art can contribute to students’ holistic development when applied in a playful, safe, and educational manner. The didactic sequence consisted of six lessons combining theoretical and practical activities that addressed the technical, historical, and philosophical foundations of Kung Fu, including the Ma Bu stance, the Ging Lai greeting, and the Shaolin hand techniques. Sixty high school students participated in the research, responding to questionnaires before and after the intervention, which enabled an assessment of their knowledge, perceptions, and engagement with the discipline. The results indicated that although most students had heard about Kung Fu, few had ever practiced it. After the sequence, there was a notable increase in interest, participation, and understanding of the educational and cultural dimensions of martial arts. Students emphasized the dynamic and enjoyable nature of the classes and recognized values such as respect, discipline, and self-control as integral to the practice. It is concluded that Eagle Claw Kung Fu represents a viable and enriching pedagogical approach for Physical Education. Its implementation fosters meaningful learning, enhances motor and attitudinal development, and contributes to the appreciation of martial arts as formative cultural practices. The study reinforces the importance of expanding teacher training and integrating martial arts into the school curriculum, recognizing their potential to promote educational, physical, and ethical growth among students.pt-BRAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 BrazilKung FuArtes marciaisSequência didáticaEducação física escolarAplicação de uma sequência didática sobre o Kung-Fu garra de águia para alunos do ensino médio do Instituto Federal de Roraima, Campus Boa Vistatcc_graduacaoCIENCIAS DA SAUDE::EDUCACAO FISICA
