It is based on the premise that, in a society marked by digital culture, critical mastery of technologies is essential for social inclusion, insertion into the world of work, and the exercise of citizenship. The general objective is to theoretically analyze the main dimensions, challenges, and pedagogical possibilities of digital literacy in VTE, aiming to support proposals that promote digital inclusion and the comprehensive education of these individuals. The research is characterized as qualitative, bibliographic in nature, and descriptive-analytical in approach, based on a critical review of specialized literature on digital literacy, digital literacy skills, and digital culture in the context of YEA/VTE, with the main theoretical references being Paulo Freire, Dermeval Saviani, and Gaudêncio Frigotto. The results show that the difficulties faced by students are not limited to the technical mastery of the tools, but also involve cognitive and sociocultural aspects, which demands intentional pedagogical practices that value their prior knowledge and promote the development of critical thinking.
