The research is based on the understanding that proficiency in the Portuguese language is essential for accessing rights, engaging in everyday communication, and entering the labor market. In this context, the aim of this study is to propose a didactic sequence for teaching the curriculum vitae as a text genre in PHL classes, with the purpose of contributing to the social and labor market integration of migrants. This study is based on bibliographical and documentary research, adopting a qualitative approach and a descriptive design, and is grounded in studies on Portuguese as a Host Language, text genres, and didactic sequences. As a result, it presents a didactic sequence that connects the teaching of Portuguese to learners' communicative needs, promoting the development of autonomy, citizenship, and access to the labor market.
